B-NPTS, in cooperation with Illinois State University, brings you RedbirdRide, providing transportation options around ISU during the academic school year.

• Redbird Express- Redbird Express is an ISU campus shuttle connecting points north and east of the immediate campus area. The shuttle is available during the Illinois State University school year, is free and open to all riders. The service operates between 7:30 am and 7:00 pm, Monday-Friday. The ISU website provides further information about Redbird Express and other ISU transportation programs.


• NiteRide- During the Illinois State University school year, B-NPTS provides a limited evening bus service around the greater ISU campus area connecting with points north and east of the campus. The service is available to both students and other members of the community. Non-students pay the same fare that applies when they use the fixed route daytime services of the B-NPTS. ISU students, faculty and staff ride fare free with their ISU ID.


• Late NiteRide- This program provides late evening bus service between uptown Normal (Watterson Towers) and downtown Bloomington. Late NiteRide is open to the public and available Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the regular ISU school year. The route runs from 8:55pm to 12:55am on Thursday nights and 8:55pm to 2:25am on Friday and Saturday nights. ISU students, faculty and staff ride fare free with their ISU ID.
