Since
no single bus route serves all possible destinations,
you may be required to "transfer" from one bus route
to another. If you need to transfer you can obtain a
transfer pass from your driver when you initially board
the bus. A valid transfer allows you to board the bus
to which you are transferring at no charge.
Transfers
are valid only when used on the first available bus
serving your destination.
Transfers
are not valid for use on the same route from which the
transfer was issued, nor are they valid for use on a
return trip.
The
B-NPTS uses four principal transfer locations where
several of the bus routes intersect. These locations
are as follows:
DOWNTOWN BLOOMINGTON South side of 100
and 200 West Front Street.
UPTOWN NORMAL South side of North Street
(adjacent to Watterson Towers) between School Street
and Fell Avenue.
EASTLAND MALL West side of the
mall between Penneys and Kohls.
COLLEGE HILLS MALL East side of
the mall adjacent to Target entrance.
There
are signs at each of the four (4) principal transfer
locations that answer these key questions:
- Which
bus routes they serve
- The
time each bus leaves
-
The direction of travel, and
- Points
of interest served by each bus route.
Our
job is to provide you with safe, efficient and comfortable
transportation. If you enjoy your ride, tell your friends.
